Back in the 1980s, people used to record their favorite songs from the radio onto cassette tapes. When I was 10 years old and got my first recorder, the very first song I recorded was “Big in Japan.”
Since becoming a professional guitarist in the late ’90s, I’ve had the chance to tour in more than 40 countries, playing clubs and festivals around the world. Along the way, I’ve released three solo albums and worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists.
Joining Alphaville now feels like coming full circle — getting to share the stage with the very artists who inspired me when I was a kid.
